Enjoy adventure sports in Ladakh

In Jammu and Kashmir there is a place that is known as Ladakh. It is a small town and has become quite popular among tourists recently. There are many reasons for this. One of them is that there are some great adventure sports that are held here which includes sky diving. Besides that there is rock-climbing, skiing, white water rafting etc.

This is the place to be in case you love adventure sports and natural beauty too. Don’t be discouraged if you are not fond of such extreme sports because the place also has ample opportunities for trekking, camping in the mountain valleys etc. Ladakh has many Buddhist monasteries and cultural heritage sites too.

Getting to Jammu and Kashmir

So if you have made up your mind to spend the coming holidays in Jammu and Kashmir but are not sure how to get there, then the first thing that you need to know is that there is a direct flight from the UK to Jammu. The airport is at Shrinagar. If you want to go to Ladakh then there are several ways to do so.

You can get a bus from Shrinagar that will take you to Ladakh or you can also get a private taxi for the same. It wouldn’t be prudent to travel to Jammu and Kashmir in the months between November to May as the place experience excruciating winters during these months
